My pride and Joy.
I fucking love this guitar. I bought it two years back and it is everything I wanted in an acoustic tone. It is a stunningly crafted instrument, I find myself staring at it when I'm not playing it. In all honesty not the easiest acoustic to play. It punishes you for bad fretting precision (but that just teaches you to play better in my opinion). But the tone...oh god the tone. I always wanted a big tone that wasn't super bright and this guitar delivers in spades. I stuck a Baggs Anthem pickup on this guitar and it sounds awesome even through my Orange. Best of all I feel like this guitar has made me into a better player.

Surprised the hell out of me.
I am buy no means a shred-head, I never would have picked up this overdrive pedal myself, it was suggested to me buy Gamlins shop owner in Cardiff. I was expecting some kind of huge over saturated distorted sound with this pedal. But it really wasn't the case. I use this pedal mainly as a boost pedal over an already overdriven channel, it really helps push the signal to a really solid sounding overdrive. I tend to keep the gain at 9-10 o'clock but really push the volume and keep the tone at 12. Great for a dirty boost but I find it a little thin on a clean channel. Turning up the Gain does turn it into a bit of a beast though. I keep considering selling it but 6 years later I still have it on my board.

Classic wah.
Built like a brick shit house. By far my oldest pedal. There are more diverse wahs on the market now, which may make the original feel a little dated. But VERY reliable. I had to add an acrylic shim to the button, I really had to stomp on my to get it to turn on or off (I think this is a fairly common complaint). Sound wise, its what defined the sound, no complaints here.

Very rich sounding Chorus pedal. With a good amount of diversity in sound. I tend to use lower settings just to thicken my sound a little and really punch the effect up for creepy, stark sounding Cramps and Dead Kennedy's style riffing. One knob, one toggle, super easy. Oh and I love how EHX pedals look.

He also used it in come as you are and at the start of some of his songs he turns it on with another pedal to give it kind of that wake up call if ya know what I mean.

You get a lot in this little box.
Big selection of sounds, which I don't particularly like using. I tend to just sit on the Spring Reverb as I would imagine most guitarists would do. A lot of the other settings just seem a little operatic to me. But the control you have over this pedal is awesome. Also it doesn't seem to take anything away from my signal. The pedal suits simple effects users (like me) and sonic wizards a like. The Toneprint is also heaps of fun, especially when it adds a new dimension to the sound like Troy Van Leeuwen's tremolo reverb.

My Sunburst LP Custom copy
Had this sturdy son of a bitch since 1998. I have tried breaking it on stage once to now avail, the strap button got ripped out once sending it flying into a crowd of people only to have a crack in the laquer under the tone pot. I honestly believe that with Epiphone you truly get your moneys worth. Its still the nicest guitar I own to play. Apart from a loose wire it has never let me down and it has been present at every gig I have played. I have no problem with the craftsmanship of most Epiphones (I did play a Casino once that was god awful), they will never have the attention to detail a Gibson will have but they are still very nice guitars in their own right. The only thing that lets them down time and time again are the electronics. The pickups are usually pretty crappy and the pots are fairly unresponsive. But sink $300 into it and you will have a guitar that individual to you and sounds great but still at a fraction of the cost of its Gibson counter-part.

My pre-lawsuit PRS
I got this guitar around 10 years ago. Way before Gibson went all Disney on PRS's ass. I was actually in the market to buy an Ebony Gibson LP Standard I played a bunch of them and found myself massively under-whelmed. By pure fluke I dropped into a guitar shop I never visit and found this beauty. I fell in love with how it played and looked (not so much the price tag). This guitar still sounds and plays beautifully. It doesn't have the famed bird inlays which is a bit of a shame, but certainly not a deal breaker. Whats really nice about the guitar is it truly has a voice of its own, regardless of its obvious similarities to another very popular singlecut guitar. Surprisingly sounds really nice played finger picked clean. My main issue, breathing on it makes paint flake off, it has a really soft finish. But I will say that the craftsmanship was far above and beyond what its Gibson counter parts were doing at the time. PRS truly are the Rolls Royce of guitars. Was it worth the money...maybe.

Great Playing Guitar with a few flaws.
The guitar is constructed beautifully. Its exactly what you expect for the price. But my main problem with this guitar is that for a reissue it is massively electronically different to its original counter-part. The pots are 250k as standard and the "Wide-Range Humbuckers" aren't wide range humbuckers at all. I wasn't expecting exact Seth Lover replicar PuPs but at least a true wide range humbucker instead you get a normal humbucker incased in extra wax to make it wider. If you want to make this guitar sound infinitely better on a budget replace the 250k pots with 500k CTS pots makes a huge difference for roughly $20, less muddy and sounds more like a Tele. If you want to go the whole-hog I had Jaime at the Creamery replace the old PuPs with his own Wide Range Humbucker upgrades (keeping the original Fender covers). This guitar now sounds the shit!

My First Valve Amp.
I have this little monster for around 12 years. Its a little too small for gigs but great for practice and really well built (its amazing how heavy 15Watts can be). Just a really natural sounding amp. Im sure I read somewhere that Lindsey Buckingham has championed this amp a few times.

Its going in the tomb with me.
I love this amp unconditionally. I have had it for roughly 10 years. It has only been to the repair shop once and I have only had to change the valves 3 times. It is one of the most organic sounding amps I have ever played and its FUCKING LOUD! Maybe not a first choice for modern Metal but if you want British crunch this amp is king.
