This is my favourite software to dj on so customisable and the library is really easy to navigate.
I love how many presets this baby comes with, plus recording and looping functionality, so many wicked effects also you can expand on by adding an FBV to it for a wah pedal and foot looping capabilities. So good.
My first electric guitar was a strat. Been playing strats since 11
Okay so i just jumped straight into the deep end with this FM synthesis stuff. And oh boy is this the synth to do it with, so many capabilities that i can't even explain since i just fuck around until i get a sound.
This is an amazing EQ plugin and it is very very quick, i like how it more or less guesses whether you want a HPF or LPF according to where you click. The HD display also makes it much easier to see every single frequency you want to manipulate on its spectrum analyser. Also the amount of points and curves you can make allow so much freedom to mix however you want. The frequency automation is also very responsive which is great.
Massive is one of the best synths i have ever used for filthy growls and wobbles. I can more or less make any sound character with this synth. I really like the performer LFO it is dope for making choppy lead patterns and wobbles.
I am a massive fan of abletons software, i love how everything is layed out right in front of you and you can quickly access your entire library. I also love how you can directly manipulate your audio and midi without opening up another window and the automation functionality is very very quick. The whole software acts as a mixer and a sequencer at the same time, no assigning tracks to channels like in fruity loops thats for sure. It just skips straight to the point and allows you to make music, minus all the fuckarounds. I swear by it.
I love mapping multiple synth parameters to this thing and annoying the neighbours with massive synth sounds and happy mystical bells and shit. Love MIDI.
Honestly, i dont incorporate this into my productions much, but these are really fun to setup a drum rack with and jam the fuck out. Very nice response and i like the looper on it.
Blind, seriously you did a good job on these shoes, canvas or whatever they are, they are very comfortable. nice.
Great little lappy for storing music on to use with traktor. Also quite good on the go as it is thinner than a pro and takes up alot less bag space.
I love the frequency response in these, and the crisp audio you get from square one.
At the moment i am djing with one of these, i love how you can just turn it on and plug and play, Traktor software is essential the library is so clean and you only need your laptop to spin records. I just like how the kontrol s4 is a go to complete performance solution, with multiple awesome effects, my favourite one at the moment being transpose stretch and delay at the same time.
