Use these for lighter work, they are more relaxed and balanced towards the middle which lets me lay back and play a lot lighter a lot easier
Started with a 55A and ended up switching to these due to the more forward balance and more optimal tip shape. Feels very similar to a marching snare stick and lets itself do most of the work
Mahogany lets me tune the drums lower than any other kit in my collection, super deep but still articulate sound out of the toms and the kick is heaven
