Amazing bass cab
This 212 bass cab has only one downside. It's extremely hard to find, otherwise I'd have two. The italian custom made B&C speakers (similar to the ones found on markbass cabs) provide a great frequency response. The cab is also finely tuned and supports both speakon and jack inputs. It's a beast, the best sounding cab I've ever had for heavy distorted bass.

Lunchbox
What's for lunch? Fat tone This is a super light hybrid bass head, with plenty of clean headroom and a raunchy tone with the gain cranked. Remember kids, this is a Orange head, the eq knobs are there just for the looks. This head provides great sound and a good set of features, like the balanced output, the fx loop, and the impedance switch that lets you push the full 500watts both at 4 and 8 ohm, which is pretty neat if you use only one cab and it happens to be a 8 ohm cab.

I LOVE THIS BASS
Got the orange body / white pg version This bass doesn't feel like a 340€ bass at all, the finishes are perfect, great playability, and the tone... It has a lot more punch than the other well known p basses, but with that sweet bite, perfect for classic rock and roll and garage. I dropped it to C standard, playing through a muff and some od pedals, going to an Orange Bass Terror head: it could get more stoner only if I played in the middle of the desert, or jamming at the Rancho de la Luna

The cheapest, the trashiest
This pedal is CRAZY. It was dirty cheap when my guitarist got it, eventually it made its way to my board. I personally use it to boost my solos, super high gain and highs. It gives my bass a Lemmy-ish tone, with a lot of sustain and feedback. It's crazy how good it sounds considering the price tag. It's also very well built, and sometimes I use the extra mixer output to run the bass through a guitar amp and basically annoy everyone and everything

the bad monkey is analog, its a TS9 tubesceamer circuit with 2 band tone controls.... don't let the name 'digitech' fool you, Digitech is really DOD, when the old DOD line stopped Digitech went on making a handful of DOD's best sellers. Now that DOD is abck you would think the analog digitech pedals would get the DOD brandname again, but they still have the digitech logo, go figure.

Need to add some bite? Look no further
I had been playing around with a guitar soul food and eventually went and bought the bass version. This is much more versatile than the standard version. I'm not talking about the db attenuator for active instruments, which is pretty useless in my case since I have no such basses. The real deal is the blend knob which allows you to mix your clean signal with the overdriven one. The original soul food is supposed to be a klon clone I believe. This is a more unique pedal tonewise in my opinion, being tuned for the bass. It adds some twang, some warm bite that screams vintage everywhere, it can be very subtle and makes you feel your 2013 standard precision like a 1970 one.

have you tried it with a guitar? I find the original soul food to be a little light on bass for my guitar needs so I traded it off. I'm kinda eyeballing the bass version for guitar though....

to jimmarchi1 http://vocaroo.com/i/s0dWhPFBhO7n when I've seen your post I've quickly recorded a les paul through an or15, flat eq, low gain. 112 cab mic'ed with the good ol' sm57 first few seconds are clean, then with the bass soul food I'd say it's definitely fatter than the regular soul food, and you can do a lot more tweaking with it. But this is a super short audio, I'd suggest you to try one out, it's the kind of pedal that changes drastically depending on your touch I hope the vocaroo link works lol

One of my favourite distorsions
This pedal can give you the heaviest, filthiest tone you can get on a bass, but also add just a little of dirt with the switch set to dry, maintaining your signal unaltered. This is a must have pedal if you plan to crush everyone's lungs and teeth
