Bob Hall's Gear
On The Late Late Show with James Corden, Bob Hall is seen using a Zildjian 18" K Custom Hybrid Crash. As a Zildjian artist, he frequently incorporates their cymbals into his performances.
Seen on this image that his ride is a Kerope and he always plays 22". Plus in Bob Hall's one seconds a day of 2015 video it shows him receiving new Kerope cymbals from Zildjian.
Can't wait to use this on our upcoming USA tour! "Gretsch has the perfect balance of warm sounding drums, hard-wearing build quality and rich heritage."
Bob Hall of Catfish and the Bottlemen uses the ROC-N-SOC Nitro Throne, as noted by drum tech Joe Cox in an Instagram post. Cox mentions working with Bob and credits the gear for making his job easier.
At 00:36 you can see that Bob uses a Zildjian 18" A Custom EFX which he doesn't use in the studio but uses it for live performances throughout 2015 and now as part of his new set up for the end of 2015 and 2016.
Bob Hall is seen throughout the 2015 tour to be using a 4 piece Gretsch New Classic Graphite Sparkle. He has been with Gretsch since 11/06/15. Alisdar Hutton X
He used to use rods back in 2014 and 2015 for Catfish and the Bottlemen acoustic sessions
"The BC2rm combined with my in-ear monitoring completes the gigging experience for me. I now actually physically feel like I'm playing a show and that what I do translates to the audience. I love it when the kick drum is a chest-pounder in the crowd, and now I get that when I play too. What a game changer!"

Bob Hall is seen using the Zildjian K Custom Special Dry 21" Ride Cymbal in a recent Instagram post by joecoxdrums. The post highlights Bob's updated setup with Catfish and the Bottlemen, emphasizing the cymbal's dry, crashable qualities that align with his preference for a distinct sound.
Bob uses the K Light ride because he loves to be able to crash his ride and have a loud impacting volume from it with lots of body yet still dark with sustain.

He has had a fair range of hi-hats but mostly in 2015 he toured using the Mastersounds until late 2015 (September) where he changed to K Hi-Hats.

Bob Hall is pictured using Promark Hickory 5B Wood Tip drumsticks during a performance at the Brit Awards, as captured in a photo provided by Zildjian.
He is seen using Evans drum heads coated for snare and clear for toms in all shots of his drums. Never Remo which I think personally is a shame.
As stated on Zildjian GBI facebook page, Bob uses this cymbal in his brand new 'The Ride' tour for May 2016 until anything changes.
In this photo in the link, Bob is seen using the official 20 K Dark Thin and no longer his long over used 20 K Dark Thin Prototype he used for 2 and a half years 2014 until May 2016.
