In an interview featured on Smartbassguitar, Brian Gibson discusses his use of the Peavey Rock Master Pre-amp, detailing its role in his setup with Lightning Bolt.
In a user-uploaded photo on Laserbeast, Brian Gibson is shown using a Hartke HA3500C 350-Watt Bass Amp Head. The graphic equalizer settings are fully engaged, although the amp could also be a Hartke HA5000 or HA7000 model.

Now Brian opts to just mainly use the ASHLY preamp, stating that it "sounds more aggressive and awesome."
