Chester Hansen's Gear
Chester uses a black Fender Deluxe Active P-Bass with a gold pickguard, and can be seen at 3:49
Can be seen at 2:01. It appears to be from 1972, because of the pickup position.
Chester Hansen is shown using a Gibson Grabber bass with a foam mute and the pickup positioned towards the neck in a photo uploaded to Bassfacespace.
The black EB-4L can be seen at 1:25 and be clearly heard at 2:25 in a solo.

In this live session on KRCW, Hansen is spotted playing a D'Angelico Excel Bass. The item can be seen 0:14 in to the video.
In the photo, Chester Hansen is using two Gallien-Krueger 2001RB Amplifier Heads: one paired with an 8x10 cabinet and the other with a 1x15 cabinet.
In more recent years Chester seems to be playing his Moollon P bass, at least in concerts. Here he is at the lowlands festival in 2022 and you can see several closeups of the Moollon.
The sample pad is used during the chorus at 2:01 to create the sub-bass. It is seen again at 4:57
