In FFD’s interview published in mixdownmag he states: “We record into Pro Tools, but a lot of the audio that’s hidden into Pro Tools is analogue,” Faiumu says. “I’ve got a nice old Trident mixing console, so I mix outside of Pro Tools in a more analogue work flow. But we’re not silly about it. We use whatever’s necessary to get the job done. Sometimes that does involve a lot of digital gear.”
