Dave Hollingworth

In this video entitled "Chapman Bass MLB-1 Prototype - Dave Hollingworth gets a surprise", Rob Chapman of Dorje suprises his Bassist Dave Hollingworth with the prototype of Chapman Guitars' first Bass Guitar, the Chapman MLB-1. He was given the prototype as a reward for helping the Monkey Lord decide what features and qualities his bass should have as the Technical Coordinator for the MLB-1 Project as stated on his LinkedIn.

Dave Hollingworth got this bass as he needed a five string in order to tune low enough with the rest of his band Dorje, as he states in the linked video.

This was Dave's other bass used in dorje and Toska. This bass was used in this does it groove video. This was the prototype for what would become his signature chapman MLB1-DH.

As seen here, Dave is playing a Warwick Thumb NT 4.

In this video Dave talks to the people at thoman music about the range of chapman basses released at namm 2018. Included in the range is his two new signature basses the MLB1 DH and MLB1 DH FF. The MLB1 DH is normal freted while the MLB1 DH FF is a fanned fret design
