Description

The Chapman MLB1 Fan Fret DH was designed in collaboration with Dave Hollingworth as one of his two new signature basses. Dave was excited and honored to be able to create a bass with Chapman that would include all of his favorite features that he has discovered by many years of playing bass. The product is a bass with an ergonomic shape, extremely comfortable neck, powerful tone, impeccable tuning stability, and let's not forget - a truly stunning look. Since Dave has always been a 4-string player, the MLB1 is "home" for him, but often finds himself needing the extended range of a 5-string. This fan fret version delivers exactly that - 26 fanned frets allows the necessary scale length to dive into the 5-string world without losing the 4-string feel.
