Don Corleon uses the Yamaha Motif ES8 synthesizer, as evidenced by the "Music By" credit on the physical CD releases of "Drop Leaf" and "Seasons." The nylon guitar and grand piano patches in these tracks are distinctive of the Yamaha Motif ES series libraries, as noted by Dani Mallick in DancehallMag's article titled "J. In an interview with United Reggae titled "Interview: Pressure (2014)," Don Corleon confirms his use of Steinberg Nuendo for multi-track sequencing. He attributes the software’s high-fidelity audio engine to achieving a "polished" and "commercial" sound for the Vendetta label, particularly noted on the Drop Leaf and Seasons riddims.
