Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein's Amplifiers
In this rig rundown (5:15) from premier guitar in 2013, Doyle says he has been using svt heads since his buddy suggested it a long time in The misfits, danzig and his solo project because "it has so much bottom in it", "I dont like mid range, I want The bottom and the High end, i wanna feel it" he's definitely not a marshall guy.
FYI: The original SVT heads from the 1970's were 2-channel, general-purpose amps with a "bass" channel and "normal" channel for guitar or keys, ect... and did not have an FX loop. I read somewhere that Doyle used an MXR Distortion + like many players did then, and more recently, a Demeter tube preamp through a modern SVT head's FX loop return to slave the power section only. Not an easy rig to mic up or record in a studio.
Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein uses the Ampeg Classic Series 8x10" Cabinet, known as the "refrigerator" cab, by customizing it with his own speakers and electronics. This is evident in a video by MPRFilms1, showcasing Gorgeous Frankenstein live at BB King's, where the bass amps display Ampeg badges. During his Abominator tour in Sioux Falls, SD, the Ampeg logos were missing, though the screw holes remained. Doyle's early setups included large 1970s Ampeg V2 4x12" cabs and custom-built 4x12" cabinets, but he continues to incorporate the Ampeg 8x10" for monitoring the bass player at larger venues.
At 4:38 on top of his Demeter preamps you can see a Power Brake. He said "Yeah, they complain every day. I had to buy a Marshall Power Brake to shut it up but I have not used it once. They complain "Oh you're too loud, oh you're too loud". I'm like "Shut the fuck up!."
This is the guitar amp head that Doyle says he used during the time in the Misfits with Michael Graves.
Doyle runs these preamps through Ampeg SVT Classic bass heads into customized Ampeg 8x10 Cabinets. It is mentioned in this rig rundown at around 4:30.

In this Instagram photo you can see the Kemper on the top section of his (messy) desk. He has yet to go into detail about how he uses it.
Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein likely used the Ampeg V2 Ported 4x12 Cab during his early career. At that time, Ampeg was based in New Jersey, and the V2 cabinet was the largest 4x12" guitar cab available, making it a fitting choice for his powerful sound. The YouTube video by Donna & Dan suggests this setup, highlighting the V2 as a companion to the 100w V4 head. While the stock photo shows a taller, ported version typically intended for bass, it reflects the robust design Doyle favored.

Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein is confirmed to use a 1970 Marshall 1960A and 1960B full-stack, as evidenced in the live performance video "Misfits - Dig Up Her Bones" recorded at FBZ Braunschweig, Germany in 1999, uploaded by Ronny on YouTube.
