Gernot Bronsert's Studio Equipment
Most importantly, Modeselektor became re-acquainted with 20 boxes of accumulated MIDI gear, such as the Clavia Nord Lead 1, the Korg MS-10 (to reinforce sub-bass pressure, creatively detuned on “Blue Clouds”), a rare, original Electro-Harmonix vocoder (on “Green Light Go”)...
We have two workstations on two custom made tables placed in one line. The core of the setup is a MacBook Pro 13 with Ableton live, APC40 controller, and a MASCHINE. On the other side, we use a 12-channel analog mixer mic live-synched via MIDI, a KORG monologue, a delay pedal and each table has a MOD Devices – MOD Duo pedal for vocal effects. We have a third workspace on a platform with a little stompbox synth and a TR-909 for techno tracks.

With the help of acousticians and Helmholz resonators, Modeselektor cleared a frequency hole and centered the space around Logic Pro, the RME Fireface 800 interface, API lunchbox preamps, and an Allen&Heath WZ 16:2 DX mixing board.
As for the gear that we can't live without... Main piece: computer Software: Logic (still) Drum machine: TR-808 (the lady) Basic synth: Korg MS-10 (the simple) … and tons of other gear.
