Jack Thammarat's Guitars

In his "Mr. Frontman" YouTube video, Jack Thammarat discusses his Squier Classic Vibe 60's Stratocaster, which he has modified with a Seymour Duncan JB bridge pickup, a Suhr V60LP mid pickup, and a Seymour Duncan 59 neck pickup.

The YouTube video's details section states: "Used Ibanez S2020XAV Guitar with Seymour Duncan JB(Bridge) & Jazz(Neck)..."

Note: Jack's Ibanez Prestige S2020 XAV has been modified with a Seymour Duncan Jazz pickup Set.

On the Seymour Duncan website, they state that the JB model is the "Hotrodded" Jazz Bridge (model SH-4) pickup, while the Jazz Neck is the SH-2 model.

Jack plays his signature model, the Yamaha Pacifica PAC212VFMJT (Flame Maple Jack Thammarat).

His personal guitar, however, has been slightly modified from the stock models and upgraded with Seymour Duncan pickups*. This Jack Thammarat signature PAC212 was produced in a custom color (root beer) and was only available in Thailand,

(NOTE: the new PAC612VIIFM that he also plays, and is currently available outside of thailand, is available in Root Beer, and has a black pickguard, as well, and has a number of upgrades from the PAC212).

*On the "little Wing" video description, where Jack is playing this guitar, it says -

Jack uses - Yamaha Pacifica Custom with ** Seymour Duncan JB and Classic Stacks Pickups** https://youtu.be/vbuE6rKL3oc?t=65

On the Seymour Duncan website, they state Seymour Duncan "JB Bridge" is the model (SH-4) and the Classic Stacks are their (STK-S4) noiseless pickups.

In the details section for his "Mr. Frontman" YouTube video, Jack states that this is a Squire Classic Vibe 60's Strat, Modified with different pickups (Seymour Duncan JB bridge, Suhr V60LP mid and Seymour Duncan 59 neck.)

Note: On the Seymour Duncan website, the JB Bridge is listed as the Hot Rodded Jazz SH-4 model, while the Seymour Duncan '59 neck is listed as the SH-1N Model.

The Squire Classic Vibe 60's Strat comes with a SSS configuration normally, but Jack's has been modified to HSH according to his notes, and apparently has had a custom paint job as well, as that color does not appear to be available stock.

There also appear to be 3 mini-toggle switches between the volume and tone control knobs just below his picking hand on the pickguard, to allow for single coil operation when desired, though he seems not to use these judging from his various performance videos on YouTube where this guitar is used.

This is Jack's signature model of the PAC212VFM, the Yamaha Pacifica PAC212VFMJT (Flame Maple Jack Thammarat) which has a custom color (root beer) that is only available in Thailand.

The Yamaha produced signature guitar model likely has the stock Yamaha Alnico V pickups (SSH) that normally come with their PAC212VFM guitars, as there is no distinctive markings on the pickup covers as there are on Jack's personal PAC212VFM that is loaded with Seymour Duncan Classic Stacks (STK-S4's) in the neck and middle positions and "hot rodded" Jazz SH-4 in the bridge.

Here's a couple of videos where he's playing his own customized version of the PAC212VFM. On both videos you can see the white lettering that says Seymour Duncan on the pickup covers for the single coils beneath the pole pieces - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c8NxjRTQSM4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZwFt0JVL650&t=2s

...and on his live little wing video you can see he's playing his PAC212VFM and in the details section it says it says its been modified with Seymour Duncan JB and Classic Stacks Pickups, which are the Jazz SH-4 and STK-S4's according to the Seymour Duncan website. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vbuE6rKL3oc&t=422s

So, if you were to pick up a Jack Thammarat signature Pacifica, you would most likely still need to swap out the Yamaha pickups for the same Seymour Duncan's Jack has in his personal version for the most authentic Jack Thammarat sound.
