Jacob Hurley's Guitars
In this photo, Jacob Hurley can be seen using an Epiphone ET-290 Crestwood with a Cherry Sunburst finish. The guitar has been modified to have open-coil humbuckers and different knobs.
The ET-275 is similar, but has different fretboard markings and doesn't come in the same finish.
In this photo, Jacob Hurley can be seen using an Ibanez AX7221, custom decals on it to resemble the look of a hollow-body.
This guitar likely belonged to Bora Karaca, as in the video "What is Cojum Dip?" (youtu.be/uTM1VlFuQ3E), at 4:27, Bora can be seen recording a guitar solo for the song Tap Tap Tap, where he ends up yelling into the pickups. The fact that there are two "skunk stripes" rather than a singular one confirm that the guitar is an AX7221, and not a similar looking Ibanez guitar.
In a photo posted on Cojum Dip's Facebook, Jacob Hurley (left) can be seen using a Fender Stratocaster.
In these two photos, Jacob Hurley can be seen using a modified G&L SC-2 from the 1980s. The bridge pickup has been replaced with an open coil humbucker and is oriented parallel to the bridge rather than at an angle. Additionally, a custom pickguard has been added to the guitar.
