At the beginning of this Rig Tour with Rise Against, Joe Principe can be seen performing a sound check with his band mate Tim Mcilrath. The bass he's using is a black Precision Bass.

In the YouTube video titled "Rise Against Live Part 1 Black Masks & Gasoline," Joe Principe can be seen playing a G&L Tribute JB2 Electric Bass in a sunburst finish. This performance suggests he may have used this bass during the recording of the RPM album.

While the original fretless model was made for the Englishman to jam alongside the likes of Jimmy Page and Kate Bush, this particular fretted model sporting BassLine pups and a pro-sanded neck served Joe well in the recording of Rise Against's sixth studio album Endgame. Finished in a now-discontinued Olympic White, this P Bass was the muscle behind "Help is on the Way," the group's first song to reach the Billboard Hot 100.
