John DeDomenici's Amplifiers

"It's hilariously too loud... I don't think I've ever turned it past 3... This is my favorite bass amp."

Find it on:

John used to play through an 810 Ampeg cabinet but he downsized to this Orange 410 after his bandmates complained that the 810 was too loud on stage, especially with fuzz on. Unfortunately, this 410 weighs just as much as his old 810. Oops.

John uses his Quilter head as a backup in case his Orange Terror fails for some reason. It also serves as a portable amp for overseas or fly-in gigs so that he doesn't get stuck with some garbage backline bass amp.

During three-piece gigs, John often uses an octave-up pitch shift to give his bass a more full sound while Jeff is taking a solo. The guitar amplifier gives this octave-up signal a stereo sound that makes John's bass sound more like a full rhythm section.
