Ken Susi

At 9:40 of this Gear Interview video provided by Thomann Music, Unearth guitarist Ken Susi is asked about what strings he uses.

"Believe it or not, my whole career, I wouldn't even know another string if it hit me on the head, but I've been using the cryogenically frozen Blue Steel guitar string by Dean Markley since I was 9 years old. Literally, when I got my first guitar, they gave me a pack of free strings of Blue Steel and my brother said he used them too. I've used them my whole career. When I was 20 something years old and we were on Ozfest, I met the isolation guy and I said, "I've been using your strings like, my whole life. Can I get an endorsement?". The guy said, "Oh of course." I've literally never played any other strings."
