In terms of equipment, we use a mixture of old and new, analog, digital, whatever sounds best. Theres a myth that everything we use is ‘vintage’ or we’re trying to sound ‘vintage’, but that’s not true. I’ve used a cheap, modern Japanese Les Paul Jr on every one of our albums because it plays great. We’ve used old amps, new amps, vintage mics, new pedals….whatever sounds good, it doesn’t matter.
