In a picture taken from the private studio of Kostas Maskalides in Assenede, Belgium, we see the rare and discontinued ADAM Audio S2.5-A studio monitor (one of two) that Kostas has been using for music production, mixing, and mastering, bought in 2003. This speaker features a 9-inch HexaCone woofer and an ART folded tweeter, with a frequency response of 34 Hz to 35 kHz and a cabinet volume of 18.6 liters per unit. Notably, in 20 years of daily use, these speakers have been serviced only once in 2014 when they were sent to ADAM Audio headquarters in Germany for woofer replacement.
