Luke Gruntz's Guitars
Luke Gruntz bought this 2011 Gibson SG Standard used in Pittsburgh, PA most likely in 2019 when touring on cleopatrick's second EP, "the boys." It was soon modified with a McNelly Stagger Swagger in the neck and a custom-wound McNelly humbucker in the bridge. He also added a Bigsby B5 with a vibramate adapter plate, but that was removed before touring for "BUMMMER" would begin.
Luke is known prominently for using a 2012 Gibson Les Paul Traditional, finished in an Iced Tea Sunburst. The stock set of Gibson '57 Classic Humbuckers is still in the guitar. In early 2016, Luke mounted a Bigsby B7 on the guitar with a vibramate mounting plate, but the Bigsby was removed by mid 2018, presumably from tuning stability issues.
Luke Gruntz is seen using a Jade Grey Gretsch G5220 Electromatic Jet BT during cleopatrick's performance at Lowlands 2022, as captured by 3voor12 on YouTube. He primarily plays this guitar on the song "2008" and has also used it in a live session for "SCARING ME" and a cover of "Poland" by Lil Yachty.
Luke Gruntz uses the Airline 59 2PT electric guitar during the recording of "Hate to Say I Told You So" with Zig Mentality and Cleopatrick, as seen in a user-uploaded photo on YouTube.
