Mark Hoppus' Other Gear
Mark Hoppus' Signature Jazz Bass comes stock with Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound P Bass pickups.
Mark has a evertune bridge on his custom jazzmaster. This allows him to bend strings without the note going pitchy or The string going out of tune
In his custom jazzmaster, Mark has a single shawbucker pickup. The guitar is wired so the shawbucker can be coil spit
His signature Jazz Bass has a pair of SPB-3 Bassilines
Mark has used the Seymour Duncan SPB-3 Quarter Pound Bass Pickups on all of his signature basses. These have been used in the standard position as well as inverted in his later Jazz and Jaguar basses. These have been used in-studio and live.
Mark Hoppus used the EMG P pickup in the very early years of Blink-182, specifically around the time of "Buddha" and "Cheshire Cat," on his first Fender Precision Bass. This is evidenced by old and recent photos of the bass, which Mark Hoppus still owns, as confirmed by a post from 182 News on Instagram.
