In this video from youtube, Mollys discusses this guitar at 2:17, "I have two Huss & Dalton guitars. One of them is actually in an exhibit in the Country Music Hall of Fame right now so I can't use it. In this Instagram post the owners of Pre-War Guitars Co. share that Molly Tuttle (pictured as well) had stopped in to get a setup done on her personal Herringbone, spec'd with Brazilian Rosewood and the only drop-in saddle they've ever done, with a shadetop finish.
In this article and accompanying video, Molly Tuttle gives a lesson with her Pre-War Guitars Co. Dreadnought, not to be confused with her Herringbone. This guitar is emulating a D-18, with Honduran mahogany back and sides.
Mentioned in the November 2022 edition of Guitar World. Used on the album "Crooked Tree", done in collaboration with The Golden Highway.
Speaking of guitars, on Crooked Tree, Tuttle used a Brazilian rosewood Martin D-28 that she picked up in 2019. “They’re built to replicate guitars from the Thirties,” she says. “To me, it’s as close as a new guitar comes to sounding like an old guitar, and the Brazilian rosewood makes it ring in a really nice way. It almost has a piano-like tone.”
Molly Tuttle's artist page on the official Martin website confirms her use of the Martin D-18 Molly Tuttle acoustic guitar.
