Nicholas Huft uses a Fender Jazzmaster, which he acquired from Spencer Hazard of Full of Hell, who had applied an “awful sandpaper texture” finish to it. According to a Rig Rundown by Chris Kies for Premier Guitar, Huft has modified the guitar by taping off the rhythm circuit, as he does not use it, and he consistently plays with both pickups engaged, featuring a humbucker rail pickup in the bridge.
