Patrick has been using the Ibanez RG Prestige exclusively since 1999. First with his band Elegy he uses an RG 3120 and a 620 7 for the recording of Forbidden Fruit

French guitarist Patrick Rondat uses the Ibanez PRM 1X Signature model. This solid body electric guitar features a curly maple and mahogany body, a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, and 24 jumbo frets. It is equipped with DiMarzio pickups: a Virtual Hot PAF at the bridge and a Piezo Humbucker "from hell" at the neck. Notably, the guitar has a slightly lower volume potentiometer than standard Ibanez models. Rondat also utilizes an Ibanez pick, his signature 1.2mm model, and sets the string action at 2mm on the 12th fret for the low E string and 1.5mm for the high E string. Patrick Rondat confirms he is testing an Ibanez AZ2204NW Prestige in an Instagram post, stating: "Qq tests avec mon AZ la S1 MKII et la dual drive!" This post, authored by Patrick Rondat himself, provides direct evidence of his use of the guitar.
