In this video Samus Unboxes the Pearl E/merg electronic kit. Samus will sometimes replace the toms on his Pearl session series acoustic kit with the emerge pads. He does this to create a hybrid Eelectric/acoustic kit. Samus is able to do so because the emerge comes with similar tom mounts to the ones on his Acoustic kit

In this video Samus covers Cry by Sepeltura. For this cover Samus uses a hybrid setup. Samus used a combo of his acoustic kit, real cymbals, and emerge tom pads. The rack toms and snare are from the emerge while the floor toms and bass drums are from his acoustic kit. Samus is able to do this because the emerge kit comes with similar tom mounts to his Pearl Session kit. Samus triggers each pad similarly to how he triggers his Acoustic kit

In this video Samus uses an Austrian Audio CC8 mic. Samus uses this as a center overhead mic on his kit. Samus uses this mic to pick up certain cymbals and make them stand out more

The kit is finished in "Satin Charred Oak" with Black Nickel hardware and is referred to by Paulicelli as the "Monster Kit."
