Seit der Produktion dieses Videos ist auch schon einiges passiert – meine Fortschritte möchte ich hier dokumentieren. Los geht es mit der Gitarre. Am schönsten ist es natürlich, mit einer 5000 Euro teuren, dickbauchigen Akustikgitarre zu spielen – aber wenn es klein und leicht sein muss, dann kann man auch mit einer Reisegitarre ganz akzeptable Ergebnisse erzielen. Ich präsentiere: Die Johnson „Trailblazer“. In English: Since the production of this video has already happened a lot - my progress I want to document here. Let's go with the guitar. Die Tatsache, dass dieses Gerät so viele Funktionen in sich vereint, spart natürlich auch eine Menge Zeit beim Aufbau. Nur ein Gerät muss verkabelt werden – wenn man das überhaupt so nennen kann. Integriert sind neben einem digitalen Mischpult und In-Ear – Monitoring alle Gesangs- und Gitarreneffekte, die man sich wünschen kann. Und ein Multitrack – Looper obendrauf! Das ganze wiegt 2,5 Kilo inkl. externem Fußschalter. Not bad, eh? In English: Next: My pedal army.

The whole weighs 2.5 kilos including external foot switch. Not bad, eh?

The biggest chunk: The PA.

Der größte Brocken: Die PA.

Nachdem ich viele Jahre mit meiner HK Audio „Lucas“ sehr zufrieden war (50 Kilo plus Kabel & Stative), habe ich sie durch zwei extrem kompakte und leistungsfähige PA – Systeme von Bose ersetzt. Ich stelle hier nur die kleine Variante vor, die ich für Konzerte mit maximal 100 Zuschauern benutze. Die BOSE L1 Compact. Sie wiegt ca. 8 Kilo und ist nicht größer als ein kleiner Gitarrenamp – kann dafür aber deutlich mehr. In diesem Video wird sie von zwei bekannten Gesichtern präsentiert: ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=78H96tUKPwc&feature=youtu.be&t=1107 ) Wie Ihr seht, ist diese PA innerhalb einer einzigen Minute aufzubauen und mit einer Hand zu tragen. Für mich ein Traum – und auch die größere Version (BOSE L1) steht dem kleinen Modell in Sachen Gewicht und „Tragbarkeit“ in nichts nach, nur dass man damit problemlos auch ein kleines Open Air beschallen kann. In English: After spending many years with my HK Audio "Lucas" (50 kilos plus cables & tripods), I replaced them with two extremely compact and powerful PA systems from Bose. Für 90 Euro bei eBay gekauft, Nachbau durch die Firma Kirkland. Jahrelang mit dem originalen Shadow – Piezo gespielt, jetzt mit einem Custom hexaphon Pickup – System von Basslab. Preamp und Piezos kosteten ca. 350 Euro. Summe: €440,–
