Gorgeous overdriven breakup without pedals. Crank it up and play. Perfect size for studio, study or your bedroom. Small, light, lovable. A classic.
You see the '65 DR used everywhere for a reason, it sounds great and can gig forever.
This is the hottest guitar I own, it gets loud, the pickups are excellent. Sustain for days. Great neck. A rock-n-roll machine, loves a Marshall-style amp. Heavy, sling this for 2 hours and you'll notice the weight.
Fitting into my guitar tonescape between two classics, the Telecaster and humbucker equipped Les Paul, the easy to play and lovably sized LP Special with P-90s is simply a joy. It produces wonderful sounds, beautifully clean to gnarly, screaming overdrive, the P-90 does it all.
It's easy to love a Telecaster. If I could only own one guitar, this might be the one.
What else can I add? The Stratocaster is a classic for countless reasons. Brilliant tones, perfectly shaped body, great neck and it just looks awesome. The Stratocaster is THE electric guitar.
When I want great overdrive response without deafening volume, the Wampler Black '65 is one of my favorites. As you might guess from the name, it replicates the classic tones of a blackface Fender Deluxe Reverb combo amp.
Another favorite of mine, the Wampler Tweed '57 provides the feel of a tweed era Fender amp. For songs that benefit from that tweed sag, the Tweed '57 is convincing and easier to pack than another amplifier.
Simply a great polyphonic tuner, I don't know why everyone doesn't use one.
