Duplicate/Incorrect Item?

Nevermind, I checked the edit history that shows up when actually looking on the "editing" page and it is that johnitals person.

I don't understand how there are listings that predate his edits about the Gibson Thunderbird, but either way it is currently a duplicate and should be fixed.

Duplicate/Incorrect Item?

The only issue I have is that this item has been updated at least anywhere from 10 to 8 years ago (looking at submissions and how they changed from the 6x10 to a Gibson Thunderbird, while the user Francis mentioned has only been on the website since six years ago.

What's also odd is that the edit history on the bottom makes no mention of the gear being updated at all! It just says it was added in 2015 and that's it.

Duplicate/Incorrect Item?

I noticed that there was a duplicate (https://equipboard.com/items/mesa-boogie-6x10-bass-cabinet) of the Gibson Thunderbird IV... but when I went to use the duplication form, I noticed that the URL is titled "Mesa Boogie 6x10 Bass Cabinet", despite all the information being about the Gibson Thunderbird. Some of the artists listed are also being listed for using both that cabinet and some other bass.

I would still say merge it into the proper Gibson Thunderbird IV page... but this is still an oddity for being two different items in the past.

[Feature request] Ability to add to band discography

The album I'm specifically talking about at the end here is Cojum Dip. Streaming releases list it as being released in 2019, but from their Bandcamp page, it states 2014.

Ability to alter a submission to be a more specific model

Yup! I thank everyone for their help with this.

[Feature request] Ability to add to band discography

Some bands may have albums/releases that are not available on streaming services but are known about and documented. It would be beneficial to be able to have the ability to add albums if we have a source of it's existence (MusicBrainz, YouTube uploads, etc.).

Additionally, this can also allow for corrections. One band I follow had an album release in 2014, but it didn't get released onto streaming services until 2019, and all the streaming platforms say it is from 2019 when it actually released years earlier on Bandcamp.

Ability to alter a submission to be a more specific model

From what I can find from searching, the AC30CC2 (and other CC models) were introduced in 2004 and was generally available starting in 2005 up to 2009. The C models were introduced in 2010 as the replacement for the CC models.

Rob Cantor started to use the AC30 in early 2006, replacing his Peavey head + Crate cab stack. There are photos from 2008 being angled just enough in the right way to actually show the panel, which match the panel from the video in the source. https://gallery.hiddeninthesand.com/var/albums/Concerts/2008-04-16%3A-North-Star-Bar%2C-Philadelphia-PA/IMG_2212.jpg https://gallery.hiddeninthesand.com/var/albums/Concerts/2008-04-16%3A-North-Star-Bar%2C-Philadelphia-PA/IMG_2222.jpg

While that video was uploaded in 2010, it was recorded during when the album Good & Evil was being recorded, which took place from October-November of 2009.

Ability to alter a submission to be a more specific model

At around 2:40 into the same video on that source, the shot shows the panel. Some CC2 models, from what I've observed, don't use a strict copper color and use a purple, but not as bright of a purple panel as the regular C2 model.

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/ae/VOX_AC30_CC2_-_panel-controls.jpg

The biggest tell was the speakers––CC2s are loaded with Wharfedale GSH-1230-8 rather than an Alnico Blue or Greenback that AC30s typically are loaded with.

Either way, I wish that this submission could be modified to use the correct model rather than having to mark this as wrong and put in a new submission that would be placed all the way at the bottom of the submission list, when the AC30CC2 was the primary amp that this artist used.

Submission Deletion

From what I can tell from the other thread, admins seem to have the ability to? I'm not sure.

Submission Deletion

Just realized I put the wrong link. It now goes to the submission rather than the page for the gear itself.

Ability to alter a submission to be a more specific model

There is a submission on here that, while correct in a general sense, does not give detail as to the specific model of Vox AC30: https://equipboard.com/submissions/405791

I have found evidence within that source which points towards it being a specifically a Vox AC30CC2, due to the speaker shown and the knobs it has. I don't want to mark it as incorrect as it is technically is correct, but I wish there were a way for the actual item on a submission to be changed.

Submission Deletion

Hi, I'd like to delete this submission: https://equipboard.com/submissions/452466

I realized relatively recently that it is incorrect and have added a new submission that is more correct.

What guitar is this?

The full image (hyperlinked in the original post) does have a bit of a fisheye lens effect, but the guitar itself is fairly centered in the image and has minimal distortion from the fisheye effect. I did rescale the image by double with nearest neighbor for the Imgur link.

Here are the two other pictures I have of the guitar, everything else I can find of it (which isn't much) is too low quality to discern any details.

Analog vs Digital

Both analog and digital have their place, and I like seeing when artists use analog equipment on stage... but digital equipment is good for those who wish to still get the tones of an amp that they might want but don't necessarily have to worry as much about the cost.

The thing I also like about digital plugins is the ability to replicate guitar tones––I once replicated Daron Malakian's guitar tone from the first System Of A Down album in AmpliTube 5 based solely on footage and what audio engineer Sylvia Massy had described about how the guitars were recorded, and I got it pretty dang close. Tone replication like that is definitely a niche, but it is one of my favorite things to do (even if it can be time consuming).

What guitar is this?

The ones that I'm looking at do look similar, but the ones that are asymmetrical are too narrow. The headstocks that are wider that look closer tend to be symmetrical from what I'm looking at.

What guitar is this?

I've been trying to search for one specific guitar for months and have made very little headway on it.

https://imgur.com/a/s4qHC9z

This picture comes from an Instagram post from Bora Karaca,, and is probably the clearest quality I've been able to find of this guitar. The only other "viable" image is a later background photo for the old website of his studio, but it is unfortunately blurrier.

I've suspected for a while that this is likely a DIY guitar, similar to a Solo PRK-10, but there are differences in the general proportions of the two that lead me away from that specific model. The headstock is also more Gibson-like, save for the very top shape.

Duplicate Artists

Joe Hawley and Zubin Sedghi of Tally Hall have two duplicate listings:

Joe Hawley

Zubin Sedghi

These listings are blank. The two listings that actually have gear listed have "(Tally Hall)" appended to their name. Would it be possible to delete the duplicate listings, but have the ones WITH information take on the old name/URL without the "(Tally Hall)" added on?

There are some Reverb links to the amp cabinet, but all are individual listings with no specific product listing.
