I love this guitar.
The LP Standard is a very versatile and fun guitar to play. It is a 2018 Mojave Burst, and looks and plays great. It does not suffer form what the internet typically says are modern Gibson QC problems at all. Friends with older LPS have said they'd trade theirs for mine in a second. The LP makes you play it a certain way, maybe a bit more aggressively than some other models. I have a Suhr Classic S Antique as well (it was a gift/can't normally afford that kind of guitar), and it is great too, but it is cleaner and more refined, and makes me play it differently than the Les Paul. Ok, I suppose I can play any way I want on either guitar, but most guitars have a cool way of leaning the player in a certain direction, and I like what the Les Paul does that way. I also love the out-of-phase, splittable pick-ups, and the bypass options. Traded in an ES 335 on this LP. Loved the ES but found it to be less versatile, and uncomfortable (odd strap placement at the neck) to play sitting down. I also tend to play music that does not require or benefit from the semi-hollow, sort of acoustic tones (I just use an acoustic when I play mellower stuff). The LP has taken some time to grow on me, but now I am glad I made the switch. Wish I could have afforded to have both. Selling or trading in guitars can be more painful than we might expect.

This is an excellent guitar, beautiful to play, comfortable, versatile, and it sounds amazing no matter what you want to play.
I love the guitar. It's a mildly antiqued Classic S, in black (white pickguard and controls). I got the guitar as a gift and, as an intermediate player, feel like the guitar is more than I need, but I play it every day, and enjoy the heck out of it.. It makes me want to be a better player, and it helps me to sound like one. Got me motivated to be more serious about playing, learning theory, songwriting, DAW recording, the works. It's a beautifully made guitar, and a lovely thing to get to play all the. Feel spoiled by it, but I'm ok with that.

A Nice, Warm Boost and a Versatile Delay, with a learning curve
A great pedal with some nice features. You can darken your tone, dial in a wide range of delay settings, add trails, a bit of flutter (chorus-like effect), and tap tempo. Just getting used to it, but I find the tone can mud out pretty fast when you want a bit more darkness, or mix the effect in too far, but this is likely more about my lack of experience with it than any inherent problem. Going to have to try a good separate dark/warm boost (suggestions?), with maybe an MXR Carbon Copy. See if that allows for more options or better ones, but the guy at L&M raved about the Tech, so I'm going to give it more time.

Dial in your tone
Tried many boost pedals, finding most of them adding too much high end, and very little if not no, tone adjustment. Here, I get some boost, and 7 bands of flexibility over my tone, which is a bit bright for my taste and style. The controls are very sensitive so you can get a lot of change with very little adjustment. Stumbled over a lot of pedals before getting this, and it has replaced many of them, freeing up some board space, but also some cash, for other pedals, and a bad case of GAS.

Inexpensive, verstatile, decent sounding bass
Inexpensive and great for dabbling in bass playing, if you're a guitar player. Regret bothering with the 5th string since I don't use it much, but it's nice to have there when a song calls for it. There are better basses out there, but this sounds and plays well and is more bass than this guitarist has a need for.

Great, mobile, versatile amp
A great modelling amp with 33 amp and sound combos in addition to your own set-ups. Effects are good, though they do not offer the range of settings as most pedals. For me there are too many distorted options, which must have ruled out some more useful cleaner sounds. Light and great for jamming, gigging, practice, and you can play all hours with headphones if noise is a problem.

A brilliant sounding amp
Though it is known for its brilliant jangle, it is a versatile amp that can get dancehall loud if you want it to, but sounds good too at apartment volumes, and can cover just about any style of music. Great reverb and that famous tremolo make it a really nice amp to play with and from. Not a really swell amp to move around. For one person it is borderline hernia-heavy. I loaded it in and out of my car. Once. It is not cheap but there are fine used ones out there.
