Versatile smart amp

Good practice amp that takes physical pedals well (minus fuzz). Less than stellar build quality

A true Gretsch semi-hollow Falcon

The G6139 is a perfect marriage of Gretsch quirkiness and ES 335-style packaging. The pinned rocking bridge pairs with the best-feeling B6 Bigsby I’ve come across. In my opinion, it’s a much better configuration than the adjustomatic/B7 combo currently offered on the g6636. Tremendous clarity and thump from the High-Fidelity Filtertrons.

Every flavor of flanger

Extremely customizable sounds, with plenty of sweet spots. Can’t wait to try it in stereo.

A cool take on a classic

Cool looks. Pickups are a bit one-dimensional. Fretboard could do with a light roll.

Great neck, subpar electronics and hardware.

I’d give the neck 6 stars if I could. The factory bridge is 2/5 and electronics are 3/5

Jack of all trades

All of the reverbs are nice, a very versatile pedal when you need to pare down your board. A lower-octave option for shimmer would be cool.

Weird power supply ruins it.

Inconsistent performance on standard 9v power. Not practical on my pedalboard for that reason.

Nice tremolo

The only thing that would make it better would be expression pedal control.

Fantastic looks, tasteful specs.

Probably the perfect Jazzmaster configuration, especially for the price. Upgraded pickups may be nice, but not strictly necessary.

Great reverb/delay combo

A great reverb/delay combo pedal that is perfect for dialing in your sound or finding crazy new possibilities.
