x2 transmitters x1 receiver
Purchased an additional transmitter to fit onto my other guitars strap which can be synced to the one receiver.

Main Vocal Mic
This is my preferred main vocal & looping mic. No downsides, projects my vocals well, has some colour added to the mic itself!

Value for money
Amazing Mahogany body guitar with solid spruce top & HPL back & sides. Similar to a parlour bodied guitar however it has 14 clear frets as opposed to 12. Has a Fishman Sonitone pickup with volume & tone controls mounted in the soundhole which is great for me as there is no hole cut into the side for a preamp thus affecting the acoustics of it. Has a great feel and punch to it.

Great mic for live looping!
This is a great affordable super-cardioid mic that I use for my vocal loops. Its a Super-Cardioid dynamic mic which is less prone to feedback due to its polar pattern. Great if you can't afford a more expensive brand like a Sennheiser e945 etc. Comes with a zip bag and mic clip.

Useful piece of plastic!
I bought this for around £3 online and holds up to 6 picks. I thought it would be better if I had 3 picks on each guitar strap so i cut it in half and added the other half to another guitar.

Great 'shimmer' setting
When it comes to performing originals or some covers the 'shimmer' setting is perfect for what I need. That really cool space effect. More control over the amount of effects being inputted when an expression pedal is attached.

Perfect for everywhere, anywhere!
Feels really good and sounds bright. This guitar can take a beating. I lowered the action when I first got this guitar and noticed that alot of the weight is on the neck of the guitar. Through wear and tear you'll find the guitars top is very prone to getting scratched up over time from your picks due to its natural finish. Great sound from the Fishman Isys T pickups system but its built in tuner is crap. Would be better if they resorted to a sound-hole pickup such as the Fishman Sonitone so that there is no hole to accommodate the side mounted preamp thus affecting the guitar sound.
These days I use this guitar as my backup. I bring it with my main guitar for the bigger gigs as a backup incase I break a string, for songs that have alternative tunings or for certain songs that I feel deserves the sound from this guitar but in general, its my backup.

Top Guitar.
Great guitar for its price of RRP £300. Has a lovely head-stock design which is unique. It is a parlour bodied guitar identical to a Martin 00-28VS except with a solid head-stock which is what I love compared to a slotted head-stock. There is 12 clear frets as opposed to 14. Comes with a hard case which is even better. The on-board EQ has a volume control, Low, Mid & High EQ knobs as well as a built-in tuner however it is not chromatic. I would prefer if Tanglewood didn't have a side-mounted pickup controls on the guitar and instead have a sound-hole mounted pickup controls. It's a shame they don't make these no more :(

Nearly perfect!
I'll start off with saying that my downside to the RC-300 is the size of the pedals themselves. I started off looping on the Boss RC-30 and much prefer its bigger pedals however, I have gotten used to the smaller scale pedals now.
I don't really use the loop effects function therefore I re-assigned the 'Loop FX' pedal to an 'all clear' pedal to delete all tracks to save me having to do it individually. Another mod that I did within the pedal is that I re-assigned the expression pedal to a loop mic kill-switch. Rock the pedal up to switch the loop mic off and push down to turn it on. This helps prevent unwanted sound bleeding into the loop mic when looping the guitar in.
Finally, I have made use of the sub-output on this pedal alongside the main output so that the RC-300 splits my guitar signal into 2 outputs in Mono so that the main output will control the mix of the recorded loops and the sub-output will control the guitar mix so that the guitar doesn't get drowned out by the loops and vice-versa.
What could be improved for maybe future builds is to have an output for each track so that all tracks can be equal in the mix when being played live. Other than that, this pedal and the other two pedals are attached to my Stagg UPC-688 pedal board flight case, Its a great investment. Happy looping!

How did you re assign the Loop FX pedal to all clear? And how did you get the expression pedal to be a loop mic kill-switch?

Hi danikib. To re assign the Loop FX pedal to all clear you simply press:
1.Memory edit, pres right arrow button to Assign1 Switch & ensure its set to ON. 2. Press right again to Assign1 Target & turn the middle knob till it gets to TRACK1 CLEAR. 3. Press right again until you reach Assign1 Source & use the knob to switch it to LOOP FX PEDAL. 4. Press right arrow till you get to Assign2 Switch and repeat the above process to set the Loop FX pedal as a clear pedal for track 2 & & exactly the same for track 3. 5. After you have completed these steps you then need to press the SYSTEM button & press right arrow once and change to Sys: LOOP FX PDL to ASSIGN by twitsting the knob. Then you press the WRITE button to save the settings in.
Repeat the above process for the mic kill switch except you change the assign4 target to INPUT MIC SWITCH and make sure its Source is EXP1 PEDAL and write it in.
I hope this helps?
