Good, but...
I'd say it is a fairly cheap entry to playing wireless, which provides a great sound quality and is perfect for smaller venues, but the design is not the best. I always have to ducktape the battery clip, otherwise it would open. If you shake this thing too much, the batteries might have short contact issues, which reboot the transmitter. Don't go running far, because you'll loose the signal. Same with crowd surfing... mobile phones, Wi-Fi networks, 4G might interfere. I would still recommend this if you don't want to spend tons of money on wireless systems, because it fits your pedalboard nicely and is worth the price.

Fantastic piece of kit, totally reliable and excellent sound quality!
I just hate wires, really. That's where this started anyway... But as soon as I first plugged into the G30 I heard an indisputable difference in sound! People often talk about the tone loss from a cable and I used to be one of the people who'd shrug it off as one of those things that only a pro can hear or that people fuss about for no reason, but this seriously makes a dramatic difference.
Unlike analogue radio frequency wireless systems, there's no compression thanks to the digital technology which means the sound coming out of the G30 receiver is exactly the same as the sound that leaves your guitar. No tone loss, at all. If you already have a bunch of cables, pedals or whatever then this is a great starting point to helping maintain your tone.
With regards to reliability, I've been using mine now for nearly 3 years and I've never had a single problem with it. The battery life is tolerable but obviously not amazing, and the range is plenty good enough for a small stage.
It's always worth giving the battery compartment a check to make sure its properly closed, as I did once have the batteries fall out half way through a song, but that's uh...user error!

Little but not the Least ..high quality .... Safety of your sounds and usefull for routing to a pedalboard dividermixer ...
Always use rechargeable batteries because if you play in live, a solo cut by not anymore power is equal to no sound to the amp(s) but also a lot of strange unwanted noises, be careful with this.
Very light, only two small batteries, can be enough for a concert with up to 6 ~ 8 hours Audio frequency Response : 10 Hz - 20 kHz & width until 2,4 GHz. 6 different frequencies if bugs between instruments happen, never at this time,
Signal up to 118 dB available until 30 meters !!!! that's enough for all the cases for a guitar or bass, and no problem with feet on the long cables and even sometimes a fall on No loss of signal, with all pedals in serial / parallel mode. No need to re-boost signal in the loop because of the loss of signal. You get the possibility to keep the relay at your waist, but br careful with some poor plastic retaining the batteries, put it in a small bag kept in and hooked like in a leather bag, or scotch around the relay box, it a forgotten point, its use during hours with small cables.
Cut the power when you don't play between tracks to economize and when you change your plugged in guitar, this is better for the power, even if cut.

NO TONE LOSS
I a/b's this system against a cable for ages and ages and I genuinely believe that it actually improves my tone due to the 'cable' function. The range is insane, I played a gig infront of over 200 this weekend and it worked no problem despite many bodies infront of the receiver. Love that the Rx is on the pedal board and powered by standard boss 9Vdc. So, so, so impressed and wireless have come a massive way in recent years. I've used VHF and UHF wireless kits before but nothing has been as reliable and true to tone as this.

It Does The Job
To be honest I've gone through 2-3 of these. While it does the job, and personally I don't experience Tone Loss, It's not bad if you're playing in a medium-sized/medium-large sized venue and you're the type of person to move around a lot. I just wouldn't depend on that clip. That clip can break off easily, the only downfall to this is you have to tape it. And get good long lasting batteries cause this eats up batteries like nothing. Energizer AA Ultimate Lithium is the way to go! If you just need a cheaper wireless for now, this would be your go to.

Aw yeah
I get the distance I want and my tone does NOT suffer from it. It allows me to be crazy and get up close and personal with the crowd. Durable as hell too. Doesnt delay and doesnt click out until a bizarre distance is reached. I love this little thing!

Perfect entry level
Does what is says on the tin. Wireless kit for up to 30m. Never needed to upgrade, works fine. My main critisism is the battery light doesn't tell you anything until it's run out. Sounds great, you can change the sound to emulate two different cable lengths, or none at all if you're into that sort of thing. Great bit of kit, good price.
Great for the money
Got this as an experiment only because I SWORE by high end cables (mogami, monster). I've had this for almost a year and it has survived the road and all the abuse I've thrown at it. Do not use cheap batteries in these guys or you'll be going through batteries every time you turn it on.

Mostly reliable
Pros: Mostly reliable. Cheap. Fits on a pedal board. Good battery life. Cons: Breaks easy. Does not work when close to wifi.
