Love the 3 detachable cables. I don't have to mess with a 3 meter cable when i'm just listening to music, but can use it when i need it while recording. They have excellent bass response, deep, clear, present, but not boomy nor muddy. The highs are clear and soft. They sound natural and not fatiguing. They are comfortable, but not for very long periods. Their imaging is really clear and instruments sound well separated, though not very wide or spacious, more like left, right and center. Also, they have an incredible isolation.
The base is really heavy, doesn't let it move a bit. I find it ideal for recording kickdrum and amps. It's not super short, so it use isn't limited to that.
It's a cheap interface. It has many ports of many types, something uncommon for this kind of interfaces. It lacks a bit of bass though, the D/A conversion isn't reliable and the headphones output is a little bit leaning to the left.
They are PC speakers, though, they are very good. They were really manufatured by Dell. Harman Kardon only put its brand on it. They're useful as a second reference. In the end final users will listen in this kind of stuff or worse. They are very brilliant, crispy and have a nice bass, though not deep.
