Fantastic cheap overdrive

You don't normally get something of quality when paying under $50AUD for a pedal, the LEF602B is something special though, and worthy of a try.

Note that how this sounds will depend a lot on what kind of rig you are running (guitar type/pickup type/amp and cab type). It doesn't sound good in all scenarios, but I run it into my ADA GCS-3 cab sim and it sounds delicious for humbuckers and for single coils - YMMV of course, but for such a low entry point you are getting something very usable and musical and at worst you can use it as a boost pedal in a mini pedal housing.

Win-win!

Great sounds

Has two modes, classic phase 90 style, and Tremonti's personally designed (I guess) 8-stage phase sweep. I wasn't much a fan of the 8-stage, but the classic 4-stage one is fabulous.

Great little amp, punches above its weight!

This amp was a real dark horse. I went looking for a small head to downgrade from my 30W, found a couple of options and got this. The TubeScreamer circuit is before the built-in effects loop which I think is a poor design, but it is one less thing to carry if you are into the TS sound.

I don't care for the TS sound personally, and rely heavily on stompboxes to achieve most of my tones.

The amp's BOOST on the other hand, is a completely different story. By itself this amp has incredible clean tones (I'm using it with an Orange PPC112 closed back cab) and they only get better when you kick on the boost.

Overall a great choice for low volume stuff, but it'll compete with a band as well....probably not a metal band, but for a "music band" it'll be fine :)

Good bang for your buck

It sounds good in the mix, not amazing by itself when compared to the Supernatural Reverb, but this unit is far lighter and simpler you can forgive it for the shortcomings.

Overall a very usable and musical addition.

Overdrive tweakers dream

There are so many tone sculpting options in this box, if you stack this with other OD or boosts you can get some incredible results. By itself it's a lot to take in for all its options, but once you settle on a tone you're going to pretty much only going to be needing to change the volume (this pedal can get so loud it will wreck things, so be careful) or the gain.

Excellent tool for finding your voice.

Excellent condenser

I use two of these in XY config to record rooms, and the quality is phenomenal. I usually close mic guitar cabs and other instruments, but if you just have two mics, 2x M3s would be enough I think.

Alternative and equivelent to SM57

Rode's version of an SM57, it's reliable, very well made and gets you a great sounding recording or live sound.

Great phaser

The iconic sound of Phase 90, not exactly tweakable, very reliable - you know what you are going to get.

Great backup amp....replaced my Orange Rocker 30

Yes, you read that correctly, I bought this as a backup for my valve amp, and haven't played my Orange at all since. This is 5W, sits on your pedal board, so you have a cab, a guitar and a pedal board to carry in. If you plug straight into a PA or DI you don't even need the cab. This is an excellent unit, and for the low price it's even worth it as a gamble (as was my case): I was looking for a backup unit when my band toured interstate for a couple of shows, it ended up being my main rig for the next year. Absolutely worked in a band setup (reggae/gospel, not metal), and the volume was enough for a community concert hall. Can't recommend this unit enough.

Venerable AB/Y box

I wasn't sure if this box was going to be worth it, let me tell you it IS. Removed all the buzz issues I had in running a two-amp setup, now it's all clean and grit with no buzzy artifacts. You can select to run A, OR B, or A and B at the same time.

All the wah you could want

Excellent vintage and modern voicings, auto-way and programmable position selection (like a sweep). Normally I use it on vintage (OK I always do), and my favorite thing is that the on/off button is to the side of the pedal - uses more space, but I prefer it this way.

Versatile digital delay with 2290(!) on the dial and TonePrint technology

Very usable preset modes, and the versatility of TonePrint makes the TC Flashback a staple on my main board. And it's stereo.

Transparent and amazing

All the reviews of this I've read are excellent. What I found was that this pedal works great into just about anything and that's when playing Single Coils or Humbuckers, it works especially well if it's stacked with other gain stages. This is my favorite overdrive ever, and I've had a few of them, this is a simple unit that lets you dial in the sound you want very quickly. Get this and you won't need another OD, well...as long as you have some degree (no matter how small) of dirt in your chain somewhere else to selectively stack this with.
