simple but effective.

while there may be choruses that allow for more options, as this only has the depth switch and one knob, i think the simplicity plays in its favor, as the only 2 control options make the whole thing very streamlined and intuitive.

you can get a lot of mileage out of the two controls. while i dont use the depth switch often, i am very glad it is there. you can get some really cool and funky sounds out of it. and the ability to go from something subtler to more obvious with the rate knob is very welcome

my love for this pedal is definitely helped by how sleek it looks, as i think some of the best looking pedals out there are made by ehx.

i have one of these in alpine white and i love it so much. im not sure exactly where i originally wanted to get one, but getting into mcr definitely amplified that. it sounds really good, and my only real complaint is that it can get a little tiresome to play on occasion due to its weight. other than that i dont have any issues with my baby

i love how versatile this thing is. you can use it as an overdrive, distortion (what i go for), a fuzz, or a boost pedal. its really fucking cool and sounds really good. heavily recommend to at least check out
