Foolproof User Interface meets Extensive Capabilities The module’s algorithms generate random values that magically turn into musical events only through your defaults. MeloDICER has a well-thought-out set of control elements that makes it easy for you to conduct rhythm and melody in any wanted direction. Melodies for Eternity Do you like what you diced? MeloDICER offers 16 memory spaces for your creations. But instead of saving resulting patterns, it memorizes all random values and control settings that lead to a certain rhythm-melody-combination. Thus you can always alter stored patterns and turn them into something completely new.

MeloDICER and the Outside World MeloDICER comes with two CV and two GATE inputs to modulate and trigger various parameters. Use it to alter certain aspects of your pattern or to expand randomness and chaos with external modules. The stochastic engine ensures that any changes are always valuable and musical.

Pulsar is a burst generator inspired by stars that output beams of electromagnetic radiation in space. Once keyed, a stream of triggers are dispersed across four outputs. Environmental factors like absorb and gravity alter the behavior of each burst and affect its movement through time. Nebulae is a granular sampler and DSP platform. Its phase vocoder audio engine provides elastic audio, which can be time stretched, granularized, and mangled to no end. With independent control over pitch and speed, and granular controls such as overlap, window, and density, finding new sonic territory is only a knob turn away. Nebulae can use live audio input, a recorded buffer, or audio files as the source material for its powerful audio manipulations. GROUND CONTROL is the 42 hp Eurorack performance sequencer announced at Superbooth 2019. The sequencer has 4 tracks: three melodic tracks and a drum track consisting of 8 drum triggers and modulation/accent output. There are also dedicated mute buttons for each track, MIDI and USB-MIDI I/O, external CV and a 2-octave piano-style keyboard. The keyboard serves for playing the melodies as well as entering the menus – in that method the module eliminates tedious menu diving. Each track can contain 24 patterns, which can be played separately or chained together in any order. All those tracks are organized into 24 projects. The number 24 is associated to the 24 letters of the Latin alphabet. Ground Control features a very stable internal analog and MIDI clocks preserving low jitter operation, which is crucial for tight sequencing. INTRODUCTION The Rampage is Befaco’s approach to an old invention: the Serge/Buchla ramp generator. We took the idea of a “patch programmable” function generator/processor, put two units in the same module and expanded them with new functions and ways to combine them: Slope detectors, analogue logic functions and evolved outputs.

FEATURES The module is built around two voltage controlled integrators. Integrators (also known as Lag Processors or Slew limiters) allow you to process your voltages, converting sharp square waves in ramp* like waveforms. These lovely devices can, for instance, convert a gate signal into a simple envelope, or achieve a “portamento” or “glide” effect when applied to pitch CV. Another useful application of an integrator is it’s ability to low* pass filter an audio signal.

The FH-2 is an 8HP Eurorack module combining the following functions:
