I'm requestiung to merge to following brand sides:

Cleaning / deleting my cookies will bring no positive effect to my issue, no.

8 month are over but the error still exist which is a bit disappointing. Could please any of the mods / admins take a look and fix this annoying error.

In the last weeks a have a strange error in my menu and request mods help. System shows me a new notification (red one sign). But when I'm entering in Notifications menu there is no new item or message. How can I turn this off?

Ok. Sorry, my English is not the best. I’ll try again to describe my problem but first please look at my 2nd request:

Now my actual problem.

Normally there is a mouse over link in the item description you can click on to open the related manufacture’s page.

In my case:

equipboard.com/items/aion-refractor-professional-overdrive#revisions-form

equipboard.com/items/aion-compressor-effects-pedal

There should be a link to manufacture Aion (Aion should be orange with an active link)

So I request to check an error at items above because Aion actually is already linked in item’s description but - there is no active link to manufacture.

There are various items with this strange error but I don’t get why.

No, not excactly.

At aion you can buy:

1. a single PCB to build a diy pedal
2. a full Pedal Kit with PCB and all electronic parts

There a several pedals available in both options

Thanks for your extensive and nice reply of which I‘m not happy about - to be honest.

In terms of the Aion pedals (and other) there should be to different options. One for the normal factory pedal and one for the PCB or Kit because these two versions are absolutely different.

So there a several Aion PCB out there but only a couple of them are also sold as manufactured pedal.

So besides my request of having a personal photo of several items I‘m asking to separate the PCB / DIY Kit from the normal pedal.

Yeah but this is my point. I just want to have the photo of my rat first. But I get the point when some other user wants to see the assembled „normal“ and non-personal pedal.

But how can I change the personal priority to show the photo of my diy pedal first in my collection/ equipment overview?

Does any mod please give me a small feedback, please?

Now I have a problem concerning a diy pedal kit and asking the mods to give me a statement/ solution for my case.

It’s about this guitar pedal:

Pedal was originally added by me. There a actual 2 versions: 1. a diy version / PCB only on which I added informations and a photo of my own pedal enclosure design. 2. a fully assembled guitar pedal

As you can see the item https://equipboard.com/items/aion-helios/edit?src=email was edited by an other user in the assumption that it’s related to 2. the fully assembled pedal

So the user overrides my personal photo with the one of the assembled pedal.

My problem is:

• the photo of my personal design enclosure is not shown neither on the general itempage nor my equipment overview - I want my design - no standard photo…
• there should be 2 items - one for the diy pcb kit and one for the normal pedal

How can we deal with that?

This will also be a problem if we have a diy kit which was build by more than 1 user so every user will have to have a photo of their own design.

Will there be a function of equipboard to have a personal photo with some items?

It’s an official Pedal Kit you can buy at the shop or at www.musikding.de

I made my suggestions to upgrade the quality of added items. Rating / submission system would be good. Maybe also a kind of approval system especially for items of low iq users.

But adding items shouldn’t be restricted on mayor label pedals / equipment. I’m in that DIY and would definitely prefer adding new pedals from Aion, PCB Guitar Mania, GuitarPCB and so on.

They are Kit you can regularly buy. Same as madbean and other layouts. So the restriction that the item should be listed at reverb, sweet water or an other mayor shop is not convincing and should be undo again.

I personally would prefer to undo all restrictions concerning item adding. I'm also creating some DIY-Pedals from aion, guitarpcb and so on. And I won't get the point why this is'nt allowed anymore. As I said - this Forum / page would lose of creative input.

So please define what excactly is a low quality item / creation before you make these kind of restrictions. And give the users the chance to enhance these items.

Honestly? So we normal user are underage to add new items? I have to make a request for every new item I want to add?

That’s again a bit disappointing, sorry.

Simply undo this censorship option and add an option to mark / report items with bad quality. Give the reporting users some IQ for the report. I guess that’s that simple.

Is there a way to accept normal item pages? Or how can I make a /p/ page at reverb for an item?

Sorry but I can‘t agree to this point that you need to have a official reverb item link or a shop link to add a new item.

I suggest to add an item if it’s normally listed at reverb but doesn’t have to have an extra item page.

Otherwise this would exclude smaller and innovative pedal makers such as Drunk Beaver Pedals.

And, what I‘m very upset with is that it’s no longer possible to add pedal kits such as pedalpcb or AionFX.

I appeal to undo this option because otherwise equipboard will get a reduced, boring and down graded collection of only global player / major brand pedals.

One of the intentions of equipboard is to get new information or impressions of new and not common gear.

So please next time ask the community before adding this kind of censorship option.

If you are interested in more high quality items there could be an extra option to mark bad quality items like the double item option and honor it with a bigger amount of IQ points.
