I changed the category because someone has labelled this as an overdrive when it’s a tremolo. The description is also therefore entirely wrong but am unable to edit the item. It should say (from the Kingsley website): The Bard V3 has exactly the same feature set as the Bard V2, but features the following improvements: output is now in phase with the input (V1 and V2 output was out of phase); more headroom before clipping; smoother Depth pot taper; quieter switching. Update V2 - The Bard (V2) now comes with a mini switch for selecting two speed ranges. The original Bard focused on the slow side in terms of tremolo speed. The newer version increases the available tremolo speed with this mini switch. Overview - The Bard’s bias modulating tube circuit provides classic, warm sine wave tremolo tones. The single Tungsol 12ax7 runs at high voltage for a full, rich and dynamic tube sound. The 9VDC power supply (provided) is converted to both 6.3VDC for the tube heaters and 275VDC for the tube plates. Features - With controls for volume, speed and depth it is very simple to set up great sounding tremolo. The volume control is a nice feature that ensures your sound does not get buried when the tremolo effect is activated. It can also provide a cut or very healthy boost. Measurements: 3 7/8” wide x 4 ¾” deep x 2.56" tall. Power requirements: 9VDC @ 550mA, center negative, 2.1 mm jack. Weight: 1.27 lbs (575g).

The power requirements included are wrong and are potentially da generous. The right information is as follows: Mains Power Requirement: 240V @ 50HZ, 250mA Voltage switch fitted as standard switchable to 115V @ 60Hz, 500mA.
