I'm Finnish intermediate rock and metal guitarist. I'm young and in a band. My main influences are Alice in Chains, Metallica, Rammstein, Death and Black Sabbath.

Amplifiers 2

Very primitive and simple, takes pedals pretty well. I bought mine second hand and it has broken reverb pot. Cleans are a bit dumb but distortion is nice. The 3 band EQ doesn't work so well on clean channel but it's very sensitive on the od channel. I recommend this for those who want to gig with simplicity and loudness. Not for bedroom guitarists. Works great in a band rehearsal when the drummer has heavy hands ;-)
Very good amp for rock and blues. Jimi hendrix, Pink Floyd, AC/DC and heavier bands too, you can get all of their sounds from this amp. If you are looking for that tight chuggy metal sound then I recommend getting an overdrive pedal to boost the preamp.

Effects Pedals 1

I got this for free from my grandfather and it works very well. Works great on clean channel to make that bluesy overdrive for your solos. Does good job also when tightening up "not so good" distortion.

Guitars 5

This was my first guitar ever. I got it when I was 7 years old so I didn't really know about guitars back then. Now I think it's okay, very sharp fret ends that can draw blood. But the sound of the singlecoils is just amazing on cleans, I love it for it's sound.
I'm not sure do I have the exactly same model but my acoustic guitar has nylon strings and Ibanez logo so I suppose it to be this same model. It works great and resonates well, very loud when hit hard. I like compose Metallica style power ballads with this.
I got this as a christmas present and it's actually very good. I was a first quite afraid of sharp fret ends when I wished for this but the fret work is good. Tuners aren't the best I recommend changing them. The TOM bridge feels also pretty cheap but it's necessary to change it. I change the pot knobs to speed knobs and it looks much better that way. There are some fails on the finish (small black dots) but it's not a problem because I'm going to get the top of the body painted in black.
I use this guitar mainly for recording stuff. I have myself swapped the bridge pickup to EMG H4 which I think was a good choice, since the stock pickups sound a bit too "fuzzy" and muddy.
The one I got had terrible frets. They were not sharp at all but the leveling was so poor that I had to raise the strings A LOT. Pickups were okay but I put a spare Jackson stock humbucker to the bridge. Tuners were also quite bad so I swapped them to Wilkinsons. The bridge was bad too :P but I just screwed I tight so no problem if you don't use the arm.

Bass Guitars 1

I'm mostly a guitar player but because I'm a fan of Cliff Burton and I like to make backing tracks for my guitar soloing, buying a bass was almost a need. This vision bass is okay, hardware seems to feel cheap but pickups work well and control pots are very versatile. Not very comfortable to sit with but I would definetely use this on a gig if someone would need a bass player for a moment.

Studio Equipment 1

I don't have this exactly same USB interface but almost the same. Mine has one line and one microphone inputs but this one has two midi inputs. Anyway the sound quality is good and I've used to record drums (through an 8 channel mixer) and guitar and bass.

Other Gear 7

Mine are white and 1.00mm thick and they feel very good playing rhythm. Good standard pick I would use these during gigs.
These are very good for fast picking, but I wouldn't use this during gigs because they are so small that my picking hand thumb starts to hurt (dunno why it's so). The max grip surface works as advertisized, doesn't drop in accident.
EMG advertisizes it as a high output pickup, it's not! It's like regular active EMG without the boosting battery, so not so great for brutal metal. Still, with a good overdrive pedal it could do some great tones, but I recommend getting an active pickup if you like the classic EMG sound like Metallica has.
This is a very useful guitar floor stand, but some guitars with certain finishes cannot be used with this. My Epiphone Les Paul Special VE was okay with this. Very sturdy and realiable, but not for all shapes so with its shape and finish restrictions it is quite limited.
I'm not saying I am a professional, but this multieffect pedal is quite odd. First, the distortion sounds are bad and sound muddy. Definetely something a gigging player would want to have. Clean sounds are pretty good and you can get different kind of reverb simulations and modulations.
I have three pieces of this wall hanger and it's perfect. I bought them in black colour.
I have nickel allergy and so on forced to use steel or coated strings. I have found Elixir strings to provide me the good nickel tone but also protection for my fingers.

Had 1

This was my first ever guitar amplifier. It worked so well and it had fantastic cleans and quite good distortion. I sold it to my friend who was starting to play guitar. I have to try Boss Katana and see is it better modelling amp than this...
