The Ultimate Mooer GE100 Review: Is this Pedal Worth it? - Guitar Space

guitarspace.org

The Mooer GE100 is a beginner-friendly multi-effects pedal, offering a range of features at a budget price. While it provides a decent array of effects and playability, the build quality is notably compromised by its plastic casing, which raises durability concerns. The tones are serviceable for newbies but may fall short for experienced guitarists. This pedal is perfect for exploration and learning, but don't expect it to withstand heavy gigging. Ultimately, you get what you pay for—a solid starter pedal with room for improvement.

It’s alright

For what it’s worth, It’s an alright Multi fx pedal. Some of the default distortions are a bit too dirty and also don’t really sound that good. The thing that’s good though, you can make your own patches on the pedal so you don’t need to use the bad ones. It’s got a good selection of delay/reverb and modulation built into it which is good. The distortion is just what lets it down a tiny bit. The other thing, being able to practice scales, chords and rhythm with this is awesome though. It’s definitely a great practising tool, but there definitely is better on today’s market, even from Mooer. Ever seen the Mooer GE300.

BANG FOR THE BUCK!

This very affordable yet powerful multieffects pedal serves its purpose for me as a starting music producer up to now. I even use it in live gigs and it is really great sounding especially if you really explore its tone capabilities; and what's even more, is that it is definitely easy to carry around.

Nice cleans but muddy overdrive

I'm not saying I am a professional, but this multieffect pedal is quite odd. First, the distortion sounds are bad and sound muddy. Definetely something a gigging player would want to have. Clean sounds are pretty good and you can get different kind of reverb simulations and modulations.

mariano_provenzano

Great for beginners, amazing practicing tool.

The sounds aren't at the level of the Mooer mini pedals, especially the overdrives. But it's an amazing practicing tool, you can play through it and listen by your headphones, there is an aux in for backing tracks, a looper and a drum machine.

Good for Practising

Good to just fit it in a bag and go somewhere to Practice. Loads of Effects. Okay for the Money
