Dayglow – Fuzzybrain

The beginning of, "False Direction" is recorded on a yamaha vss-30. He says it in the beginning of this video in which he talks about how he made false direction.

In this video from Dayglow's "How I Made" series, he explains that he used a microKORG XL for some of the synth sounds on Fuzzybrain. However, the instrument he holds up as he says this is clearly a microKORG XL+; the microKORG XL has a silver faceplate, while the microKORG XL+'s is black.

Sloan uses Logic Pro X to produce his Dayglow tracks. You can see him using the DAW in is "How I Made" series on youtube.

At 3:47 Sloane explains how he used the Fairlight CMI recreation in Arturia's Analog Lab for some of the synths on his song 'Listerine'. If you watch some of his other videos, Analog Lab also features on the song 'Can I Call You Tonight?'.
