CPU hogger with an amazing sound
My favorite sounding software synth ever. It's such a CPU hogger though. I can only run one instance without my CPU getting crapped out (and that's if I load the VST early on during the production phase). If I have multiple instances of Serum and stuff already running, everything else in the session needs to be frozen (and even that won't guarantee the CPU not crapping out).
I'm only giving it five stars because it sounds THAT good to me. Also, I've conditioned myself to use it early in the production phase & bounce stuff to audio quickly (kind of like using hardware).

all that CPU and I can still tell my odysseys and solus apart in a blind taste test...

Hardware solus & software odyssey? Or are you referring to hardware versions of both?
I'm scared to think about the number of eargasms I'll get when I manage to get my hands on a hardware Odyssey. Need an RME interface with more I/O first though; LOL.
