In an interview with Antihero Magazine, guitarist Alex Hellid of Entombed discussed how he achieved his signature tone by using a Boss DS-1 Distortion pedal. He stated, "The HM-2, he would put hard left and hard right, and then we’d put a third guitar which would be my sound with a Boss DS-1 in the center with a clean bass."
