The Beatles – Get Back (Rooftop Performance)

Paul McCartney has been using the Höfner 500/1 Bass since acquiring it in 1963, replacing his original 500/1 "Cavern" model. This bass, iconic to McCartney's image, was prominently featured during the "Get Back" sessions. Notably, he removed the pickguard and added a "Bassman" sticker. The bass still has a taped setlist from the 1966 tour, which includes songs like "Rock and Roll," "She's a Woman," "Day Tripper," and "Paperback Writer." This is the same bass paul used with The Beatles on the 60s, During the "Get Back" sessions paul placed a "Bassman" sticker, also it used on The Beatles final show, at the Apple Corps rooftop, on January 30, 1969

At around 0:41 - 0:47 in this video you can get a closer look at Paul McCartney's Fender Bassman Export-Amp Amplifier Head that he used at the "Rooftop Concert". If you compare the inscription and the six knobs of this amp to the Export-Amp you will not notice any differences.

According to this article from Dolphin Music, "Another fuzz pedal the Beatles have used was an WEM Pep Rush, reportedly used on the Paperback Writer recordings. There is a photograph, taken around that same era, shows Lennon fiddling with the Pep Rush fuzz pedal." Another photograph can be found here.

Lennon bought a Sunburst Epiphone Casino with a white pickguard and the standard Epiphone “trapeze” tail in 1965 and used it as his main guitar until his early solo year ('70s). He play it live during the Beatles tour at Japan (1966), he also used it in all Beatles' studio albums since Revolver, and during the Beatles self-titled white album sessions he sanded his Casino and removed the pickguard, this model would result in a variety of reissues known as the Revolution Ephiphone Casino. After Lennon's death, the guitar was kept by Yoko Ono.

Billy Preston played a sparkle-top Fender Rhodes piano during the Beatles' Get Back sessions in 1969. Preston accompanied the Beatles on the Rhodes for their rooftop concert, the group's final public appearance. In April 1969, the Beatles' single "Get Back" was credited to "The Beatles with Billy Preston," the only time an artist was credited as a co-performer with The Beatles after the band started recording as independent artists. The credit was bestowed by the Beatles to reflect the extent of Preston's presence on the track; his Rhodes electric piano is prominent throughout and he plays an extended solo.
