Does what it says, simple and effective
More than just a glorified surge protector, this unit really does tame unwanted noise and dirty power. Will it make single coil pickups noiseless? No. Will it subdue the venue's lackluster power outlets and ground issues? Yes. It is also nice to have just one cord to plug in from my rack case, keeping everything tidy and simple.

Good tone on it's own, great as a power amp
To be honest, I never really used this amp to it's full potential. I purchased the 2x10 combo without the 1x18, and in hindsight, I really should have gotten both. This is a stereo amp with full bi-amp capabilities and crossover section, which I'm sure sound amazing when setup right. As it is in my rig, I run my GED 2112 into the FX return, essentially using this just as a power amp with graphic EQ. This works really well for me and even with the 2x10 has enough volume to compete with a heavy hitting drummer and a 5150 tube amp.

Great bass for heavier genres
There are a variety of options on this line of basses from Ibanez. The model I use has dual humbuckers and an active preamp. Not to say this bass couldn't do softer genres of music, but when I need some real punch to my sound, I use this one. Roll back to the bridge pickup, crank the tone knob and you will be heard in the mix.

Amazing "budget" bass
I have the VM Jaguar with active preamp and P/J pickups. The versatility of tonal options is fantastic. From classic rock to alt-metal and more, this bass will get you there. The build quality rivals that of a low end Fender bass for half the price. The jazz pickup could be a bit more balanced with the precision, but other than that I have no complaints.

Lush chorus for under $40
I use this for only 2 songs on our setlist, Nutshell and Heaven Beside You. Normally, using a guitar focused chorus pedal on bass would suck the low end. However, my GED 2112 saves the day by having the FX loop on the drive channel, allowing me to keep that low end dialed in. Great shimmer and just a classic chorus tone.

When you need that little push over the edge
First off, this pedal take some dialing in for a good sound. At least for me, as I'm only looking for a little more grit and drive on occasion. Pay close attention to the Dry/OD knob and this pedal will sound great, but it doesn't take much. The 2 band EQ is a nice feature to sculpt that dirt tone once you get there.

Incredible versatility in a small package
Even without the TonePrint software, this pedal is useful. Once you dig in to all of the settings (which can be a bit daunting at first), this pedal will do whatever you need an octaver to do, and more. The ability to set the function of each knob to do anything is just incredible. The tracking is superb for both the Sub and the Up channels. It does take some time to dial in, but once you do, your ears will thank you.
