Good tone on it's own, great as a power amp
To be honest, I never really used this amp to it's full potential. I purchased the 2x10 combo without the 1x18, and in hindsight, I really should have gotten both. This is a stereo amp with full bi-amp capabilities and crossover section, which I'm sure sound amazing when setup right. As it is in my rig, I run my GED 2112 into the FX return, essentially using this just as a power amp with graphic EQ. This works really well for me and even with the 2x10 has enough volume to compete with a heavy hitting drummer and a 5150 tube amp.

Good for the price.
It’s American made. Bi-amped, parametric and graphic E.Q. (With bypass switch) pretty rad head. Just got to run 4ohm to get any ass out of it.
