Great bass for heavier genres
There are a variety of options on this line of basses from Ibanez. The model I use has dual humbuckers and an active preamp. Not to say this bass couldn't do softer genres of music, but when I need some real punch to my sound, I use this one. Roll back to the bridge pickup, crank the tone knob and you will be heard in the mix.

I Had the 300 and 400
I had the 300 and 400, they accompanied me for several years... The 400 is a very good bass with a 3-band EQ plus tone and overall volume.
