Holy crap this is incredible!
You know when you look at your favourite synths and think "If only it could just do this, that would make life so much easier"? Well, Serum will have it. Whatever it was that you wanted and couldn't do in your other synths, Serum will do it. Need I say more? It's incredibly user friendly, yes it does look intimidating but for what it actually does, it's plain simple.

Bang for the buck monitors!
If you're just scraping by with not too much cash, these babies will get you started for a measly £80! They have a nice flat frequency response range while providing a good all-round sound monitoring quality. Making sure these monitors are placed properly and providing the space is somewhat acoustically treated will definitely improve the clarity of the bass frequencies, otherwise it can get pretty muddy very easily. I will soon be replacing these for something more advanced and of higher quality, but for now they work a treat!

Fluid and Dynamic
I myself use a lot of iZotopes software in mastering. This is more than I expected from the new release of Ozone, It's not just a new skin put on top of Ozone5. The quality and depth of the tools are very fluid and Optimised for the task. If you're familiar with Dynamics and Compressor tools, you can be an expert with Ozone 6 in a couple minutes. This is now one of the essentials when mastering. iZotope never disappoints.
Version: iZotope Ozone 6167

Great for my needs!
64GB of storage goodness! And at a great price, I can store all my tracks and projects for use on the go! However I recommend storing a backup of tracks and projects incase the flash drive dies.

Meh...
Everyone will hate me for this, but it uses way too much of the systems resources and crashes way too often.
Version: Image Line FL Studio 10244
I find there is way too much mouse clicking and submenus...i just use it to record external audio now, cant be bothered after working on a puter all day at work!!

Dubstep ruler!
Ok, When I make dubstep. This is the daw for the win! (5 stars for dubstep) It layers dubstep so well. But I prefer logic pro 9 for any other genre. (ElectroHouse, BigRoomHouse, ProgressiveHouse, Bounce)
Version: Ableton Live 9167
Awesome!
Now I know this is newer than 9.. but it's not any different. They just changed things that made it less fluid. But other than that it is a great DAW!

Best Bus Compressor!
By far, my favourite compressor is the glue. It does what it says, it glues the track together. It gives it transparency!
