Best Bus Compressor!
By far, my favourite compressor is the glue. It does what it says, it glues the track together. It gives it transparency!

Screw any other compressors.
Add this to your weak sounding kicks and bam, you have the greatest kick ever...

I use that in particulary for the parallel compression (also known as New York compression). Recommended!

everyone loves this and rightfully so
here is another great SSL style bus compressor! Its not a 1:1 clone but it has pretty damned good sound quality. I sue this quite a bit when I don't want to use the waves one.

Love this <3
My favorite Plugin this is my favorite plugin when it comes to compression: Cytomic's The Glue Compressor Plugin.
I heard its good, but I'm new to this EDM producing. What's the benefit of this?

All The Glue
I love The Glue. It takes your mixes and gives it that consistent 80's SSL Bus Comp sound that is so well known today. I tend to use it on various instruments and in my master chain.

A nice take on SSL's G bus compressor
like the classic bus compressor, with a few additions for a more modern sound and fine tuning. I really like the HPF on this.
the hpf is from the API 2500, the other VCA bus comp
funny you should mention that... the api 2500 is my favorite bus compressor. It ALWAYS goes on my drum bus. And it's because of the thrust detection and hpf. Gives the cymbals a nice shine to them.
tell me about it, one of those underrated pieces of kit
